Ford has revealed a facelift version of their Mondeo at the Moscow Motor Show in Russia. The 2011 Ford Mondeo facelift offers a revised grille, a modified bonnet, LED daytime running lights, chrome around the windows, and LED taillights.

Inside will house higher grade materials, a centre console which has been redesigned, satin chrome trim, and LED ambient lighting.

Engine wise, the 2011 facelift Mondeo will boast a 1.6-litre Duratec with 88kW, a 2.0-litre Duratec with 107kW and a 2.0-litre EcoBoost with 149kW or 177kW of power. The diesel range will include a 2.0-litre Duratorq TDCi with 85kW, 103kW or 120kW, where a 2.2-litre Duratorq TDCi will boast 147kW.

Equipment for the modified Ford include a Lane Departure Warning System, Auto High Beam, a Blind Sport Information System, a Speed Limiter, Driver Alert, a rear view camera, Eco Mode which offers the driver information on the fuel rating, a regenerative braking system, and an Active Grille which monitors the amount of air flow running through the engine bay. The Active Grille system “regulates the airflow through the radiator and engine compartment, reducing aerodynamic drag and benefitting engine heating characteristics to improve fuel economy and warm-up performance, particularly in cold climates.”

Prancing starts at £17,295 in the UK.

We’re expecting the Focus ST will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show.
