New Details On The 2012 Porsche 911

New details on the Porsche 911 for 2012 has surfaced and they state there will new lighting units, Panamera-like mirrors, and a revised rear wing. It was also rumoured that the new 911 will be slightly longer and wider than the current model.

Inside is said to include a major upgrade to the styling, and this should match that of the Panamera and Cayenne SUV.

Power for the Carrera will come from a 3.6-litre engine with 272kW of power and 400Nm of torque, where the Carrera S will boast a 3.8-litre engine with 309kW and 440Nm of torque. Similar to previous models, Porsche will offer a six-speed manual or the PDK seven-speed ‘box.

There’s a chance of a hybrid model as well, but there’s no news on this.

Unfortunately there are no images of the new model, so the picture above is that of the current version.
