Ferrari’s Enzo Successor Said To Be Hybrid?

Ferrari Chairman, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has confirmed that the Enzo successor will indeed boast better performance with lower fuel consumption.

According to di Montezemolo, the Enzo successor will “incorporate the state of the art of our knowledge in terms of increasing performances while reducing fuel consumption and emissions. It will then influence all Ferraris that appear after it.”

Previous reports from Ferrari state the company is working on a hybrid and kinetic energy recovery system.

The new Enzo is only expected in 2012 where it will be smaller than the current model.
