It’s Official, The Stig Is Ben Collins

It’s finally official. The Stig is actually Ben Collins, a professional race-car driver. The release of the identity of The Stig is due to Ben wanting to write a book, published by HarperCollins. BBC filed for an injunction to stop the publishing of the book, however they were unsuccessful.

Prior to Ben Collins, Perry McCarthy was The Stig where he released his identity by publishing a book. This time round, it seems to be the same story.
