Mercedes-Benz Reveals The A-Class E-Cell Battery Powered Vehicle

Mercedes-Benz has revealed their brand new A-Class E-Cell electric vehicle, an EV which is expected to enter production within a year. The A-Class E-Cell will undergo a production of 500 units where they will be leased to those interested in Germany, France and the Netherlands.

The engine is a 50kW electric motor which is capable of 71kW when boosting for overtaking, and this is connected to a lithium-ion battery pack. The driving range amounts to 200km where the top speed is 150km/h, the 0-60km/h sprint takes 5.5 seconds, and the 0-100km/h run comes in at 14 seconds.
