Mercedes-Benz South Africa Looking To Produce The C-Class In South Africa
South Africa | Dean | September 17, 2010 at 22:18Mercedes-Benz South Africa is currently trying to obtain a contract to produce the new C-Class in South Africa. It was said that the bid currently sits around R2 billion, where the contract will secure around 2,000 new jobs.
The production is expected to take place in four-years time, and Mercedes-Benz South Africa are trying their best to land the deal. They are chatting with Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies about the deal, where it seems to be looking very positive.
It was said that the government will support the cause, which should hopefully strengthen MBSA’s case.
