MINI Countryman Coupe — Off Road Coupe SUV?

BMW are thinking about rivaling the Land Rover Evoque, with the MINI brand. It’s not yet confirmed, however there’s a chance that the MINI Countryman Coupe would boast a coupe-like roofline, two doors, and a slightly raised suspension for off-road styling.

According to AutoCar, the design is currently on the drawing board at MINI and it’ll fit into the brand’s plan to create a range of niche vehicles. A big factor in green-lighting the Countryman Coupe would be based on the success of the BMW X6 — a model which shows that people are interested in unique vehicles.

Following all of this, the Countryman Coupe could arrive in 2013 with a price tag of about 20,000 GBP.
