MINI Countryman Rally Car — First Prototype Image

MINI are looking to enter the World Rally Championship with their Countryman crossover. To show us that they are serious about doing this, they have released an official picture of the Countryman WRC racer which is currently undergoing testing at Warwickshire in England.

The Countryman racer pictured here boasts a temporary body kit which shows what the final model might look like.

MINI have said that because it’s a relatively new car to rally, and it hasn’t been tested before, they are taking “time to ensure all the systems are working as intended before embarking on a week long gravel test”.

The final look of the car has not yet been decided.
