Paris 2010 Preview: Peugeot EX1 Electric Concept

This is Peugeot’s new concept car dubbed the EX1. It will show it’s face at the Paris Show later this month where it will offer an all-electric layout with a futuristic design.

Peugeot’s EX1 will have a droplet-shaped body which uses the same design language from the SR1 concept, as well as the production 508 — which will also show its face in Paris.

The EX1 houses a monocoque body structure, a new grille, new suspension system, and a pair of electric motors.

There is one electric motor on each axle allowing for four-wheel-drive with a power output of 250kW with 240Nm of torque. The motors will be powered by a lithium-ion battery unit.

Unfortunately no performance figures have been released, however Paris Motor Show will reveal all.
