Wimmer RS has modified the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. And not just any AMG, but the one that includes the AMG Performance Package Plus. The total package is called the Dunlop-Performance and it’ll compete in the Tuner’s Grand Prix on the Hockenheimring.

Changes to the AMG include a new revised ECU, new exhaust manifold, improved air-intake and a new air filter from K&N. The changes to the 6.2-litre V8 engine amount to 403kW, a 40kW bosot in power. The 0-100km/h time comes in at 4.4 seconds with the top speed limited to 308km/h.

There will be a KW3 Club Sports coilover suspension and Dunlop Sportmaxx GT tires to keep the car on the track.

  1. Not that Hyundai will surprise any of you that have already seen the Korean domestic market 2011 Elantra sedan, but the automaker has released a single photo of a partially wrapped up U.S. spec Elantra on its Twitter page.

For the full story on the available powertrains and other details, we’ll have to wait until next week when Hyundai pulls the wraps off the car at the Los Angeles Auto Show. But until then, follow the jump for a high-res gallery of the KDM model.
