Audi Looking For Another Sport Model — Could Base It On The eTron Spyder

Audi’s Chief of Development has said that the brand is looking to create a new sporty model. Michael Dick was interviewed by Auto, Motor und Sport where he said that “there is definitely still room for another sports car series,” alongside the TT and R8 models.

Michael said that the eTron Spyder from the Paris Motor Show gave good impressions, therefore they might use this as an idea for the new sport model. Essentially the eTron was built to be a smaller R8 model which means that it comes sporty, as a standard.

Power for the eTron Spyder comes from a V6 TDI diesel engine coupled to two electric motors for four wheel drive.
