Opel Looking To Create A Mini Car Smaller Than The Corsa

Opel recently announced that they are looking to build a small car below the Corsa range. New reports on this matter state that the model could be called the “Junior” where it will compete against the Fiat 500 minicar.

It’s hinted to be an ‘iPod on wheels’ where it will be aimed at young buyers who like technology and gizmo’s.

Production is expected to start in 2013 where it will be offered with low fuel-ratings and even an electric-powertrain.

According to Opel’s CEO Nick Reilly: “It will have the latest infotainment systems and good fuel economy to make it environmentally friendly. For that, buyers will pay a little more.”
