Paris 2010: Renault Twizy Z.E. Electric One-Seater

Renault has revealed their Twizy, a model which will fall under the Zero Emission branding which currently holds the Fluence and Kangoo Van.

The Z.E. Twizy will be a city-skipper which offers 15kW of power with 57Nm of torque from an electric motor. A top speed of 75km/h is possible with this motor.

Renault’s Twizy is aimed at city-people looking for a second car, young drivers who travel in traffic, and those who like a stylish practical vehicle. Now if you’re one of these characters described the Twizy will be available during 2012.

There’s a charge time of 3.5 hours, storage space of up to 55-litres, and seating for one. Safety features for the single occupant includes a pod which collapses, an airbag and safety belt harnesses. The overall weight is 450-kilograms.
