Porsche Looking To Hybridize Their Range

Due to tougher emission laws, reports have said that Porsche will use hybrid technology to stay inline with the requirements. Wolfgang Duerheimer, Porsche’s development chief, has said that “In the future, we will have hybrid drive in every model line.”

There was no word on what system will be used, however Porsche’s Heinz-Jakob Neusser said that the Panamera Hybrid will be able to travel up to 6km on electric power alone.

Alongside the news on hybrid-power, Porsche will also include four-cylinder engines into their line-up as the CO2 guidelines require it.

Finally, the German automaker said that no new model will be heavier than the model it will replace.
