Volvo Looking To Enter The 5-Door Hatchback Market

According to reports, Volvo is planning to create a 5-door hatchback model to compete against the Volkswagen Golf. The 5-door Volvo will only launch in 2012 where it will be a completely new model to that segment, as it boasts 5-doors opposed to three like the C30. Furthermore, the new 5-door would use the same technologies found in the S40 and C30 coupe.

Volvo said that the 2012 hatchback is currently the brands top priority.
