2014 Honda Civic Gets An Update, Both Visual And Mechanical

The 2014 Honda Civic hatchback for Europe has been updated with both mechanical and visual changes. Honda’s updated hatch for the United Kingdom is expected to go sale in January, where pricing has not yet been released.

However, prior to that, the company has released details on what it the update will include.

The 2014 Honda Civic will boast revised front and rear dampers that will help improve body control, where the rear suspension has been modified to improve handling. Following that, a new power-steering module has also been added, and this is aimed at improving handling at higher speeds.

Handling improvements aside, the new Honda Civic will get visual tweaks that comprise of privacy glass for the rear window, and piano black finishes on the tailgate, lower bumper and front bumper. New alloy wheels complete the look.

Inside boasts white stitching on the seats, steering wheel and knee pad. There’s aluminium around the cup holder and more black polish.

Extra technology features such as blind-spot warning, lane departure, and active braking systems will be available too.
