Bugatti have released the latest images of their gold-plated Veyron, which is actually just a gold coloured exterior. There are no performance mods, or anything different, in fact, its just a new paint job.

2009 marks the 100th anniversary for Bugatti, and in celebration for the 100 year mark, Bugatti are working on a special-edition Veyron which will be at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show. The model is known as the Centenaire, and it will feature custom styling with 1,350-hp. The top speed is rumoured to be 425km/h.

There were only 73 units of the Bugatti Veyron delivered in 2008, and this brings the automaker close to finishing off the batch of units. There were only 300 Veyrons ever made, and there were also about 25-30 special editions, including five Hermes Veyrons.
